A warm welcome to
Peter Hills C of E Primary School

Welcome photoThank you for taking the time to find out more about our school.

On behalf of the pupils, staff, parents and governors of Peter Hills we welcome you.

To be an educator is a privilege and a profession, to which we have dedicated our lives to. Throughout this time we have seen the ever-changing challenges the education system faces; requiring us to adjust and adapt our strategies in order to best serve our young people and their families. As the world continues to change around us, we at Peter Hills aim to push boundaries, strive for excellence and provide our pupils with the tools that enable them to be positive role models in society. There is no limit to what our pupils can achieve and under the guidance of God, we nurture and educate, to build resilience and a strong sense of self-worth.

As a school that sits at the heart of the Rotherhithe community, in one of the most progressive cities in the world, we take the time to build relationships with every pupil and discover how best they learn. Our philosophy extends beyond achievements in Maths and English, SATS results or league tables. Development of the whole child is what drives us; what matters! Our curriculum is shaped to meet these needs and evolves constantly based on its effectiveness and the wealth of knowledge our dedicated staff have at their disposal.

Our strengths lie in the understanding that a child deserves the right to the best education possible in a safe and welcoming community. We as a school endeavour to succeed in that mission and when faced with any barrier, we break it down.
