Peter Hills wants to build a strong partnership between staff, parents and carers because we know that this is important in helping children to achieve and enjoy learning.
There are many things that parents can do to support and help the school. We need you to help your own children as much as possible by talking to them about what they do at school and taking an interest in the learning that goes on each day. Being enthusiastic and praising children when they do great work goes a long way towards making children feel positive about school and helps them to have the confidence to do well. Extending the children's learning by asking them lots of questions is another way in which you can help.
Attending school events and workshops is also a way of getting to know each other, suggest ideas, gain information and learn new skills. So many parents have skills and ideas that would be invaluable to the school, we are always receptive to offers of assistance!
Parent View
Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school.
Parent View asks for your opinion on 12 aspects of your child’s school, from the quality of teaching, to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour.
Ofsted will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect, and when. A screencast demonstrating how to register and complete a survey on Parent View is available on the How to use Parent View page.
By sharing your views, you’ll be helping us to improve. You will also be able to see what other parents have said about our school. Or, if you want to, view the results for any school in England.
