Message from the Headteachers
“The ability to read, write, and analyse; the confidence to stand up and demand justice and equality; the qualifications and connections to get your foot in the door and take your seat at the table — all of that starts with education.”
Michelle Obama
As the Interim Acting Headteachers of Peter Hills Church of England Primary School, we are thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you. Our mission at Peter Hills is deeply rooted in the values of faith, compassion and inclusivity. As a Church of England school, we have a strong Christian ethos. We recognise and value the uniqueness of every child, helping all to flourish within a safe, secure and creative environment, through opportunities that are relevant to their needs both now and in the years to come.
We are dedicated to breaking barriers, both real and perceived, to create an environment where every child can thrive spiritually, academically and emotionally. We firmly believe that education should be a force for good and that it is our job to ensure our children have no limits to their personal growth and potential. We are committed to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment where children can come to feel school and feel a sense of belonging.
Our curriculum is designed to go above and beyond for our children - we embrace innovative teaching methods, real-world applications, and interdisciplinary approaches that challenge students to explore complex ideas and solve real problems. As you will see from exploring our website, we celebrate diversity and inclusivity. We emphasize not only academic achievements, but also essential life skills such as communication, problem solving and resilience.
